Artistic Director, Andrea Ariel, traveled to Lleida, Spain for the International Soundpainting Think Tank, July 7-13, 2024
“What a joy and inspiration it was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Soundpainting at the International Think Tank in Lleida, Spain. It was an amazing week of artistic creation and exchange, improvising, sharing stories, songs and great food. Over 50 multidisciplinary artists from over 7 countries gathered to practice and further our work with Soundpainting. We celebrated creator Walter Thompson for the genius invention of Soundpainting that is now practiced world-wide. I am excited bring this creative energy back to Austin to continue to develop my work with live composing with both multidisciplinary artists and the community.”
