Andrea Ariel Dance Theatre’s The Bowie Project was named #2 of the Top Nine Big Bang Dance Concerts of 2015.
Award-winning choreographer, Andrea Ariel, in collaboration with line upon line percussion, presents LUMEN featuring live, original music and dance in a site-specific installation design of light and space in the historic McKean-Eilers building in downtown Austin.
Inspired by the work of minimalist artist Dan Flavin, LUMEN invites audiences into an exploration of perception through a dynamic interplay of movement, sound and light to create an inimitable performing arts experience for all ages.

The McKean-Eilers Building is located at 323 Congress Avenue.
UPDATE! – Parking for LUMEN in the 301 Congress Ave. parking garage is $5 cash on entry on Friday/Saturday. ENTER on Brazos between 3rd & 4th. Note if garage starts filling up it might go up to $7 – but not likely. The elevator drops you in the plaza behind 323 Congress.
Metered street parking is available on surrounding blocks. In addition to metered parking garage parking is available at the Austin Convention Center (entry on San Jacinto Blvd or Brazos St between Second and Third St). Capital Metro also provides numerous public transportation options.
