Percussionist, Rey Arteaga, is a favorite performer in the local music scene
and has played in some of the best Latin bands in Austin. For thirty-three years, Arteaga has performed classic repertoire of Cuban son, Colombian cumbia and Mexican bolero and ranchera, renditions of which have ranged from the traditional, to eclectic and innovative.
Founder of Son y No Son, Arteaga will be joined by Oliver Steck (Cornet), Ben Bradshaw (Bass) and Tico Rey (Trés Guitar).
