A huge thanks to everyone who came out to see our performance of REIMAGINE, Celebrating 30 Years! It was great to be in the theater and to see all of you in person again. What an amazing production! More thanks to everyone who supported us with your donation or sponsorship helping us achieve this success.
Many thanks to Natalie George for the beautiful production design, Pam Fletcher Friday for the great costumes, and to the fabulous artists that made this dream come true Graham Reynolds (composer, piano), Ilia De La Rosa (cello), Alexis Ebbets Buffum (violin) and AADT’s ensemble members Luis Ordaz Gutierrez, Sade Jones, Clay Moore, Whitney O’Baugh, Ceci Proeger and Jun (Sunny) Shen. I am so grateful to work with this ensemble of artists who brought a high level of talent and skill to reinvent past repertoire and create new works all to the magnificent scores by Graham Reynolds.
Check out this absolutely eloquent and thoughtful review of REIMAGINE, Celebrating 30 Years by David Robinson for Central Texas Live Theatre. He brings his experience and insights of seeing the original works from 1990, 1996, 2008, and 2012. Read it HERE.
Here are some of the things people wrote in our surveys about the show…
“There’s nothing like live performance with such high caliber of choreography and music. This kind of experience keeps us human and connected not only to each other but to our souls.”
“This production was truly amazing and breathtaking. The performance was undeniable perfect. Definitely a show stopper performance.”
“Transcendent. I found myself lost inside it, only remembering when it ended. Need More.”
A wonderful reminder that the world needs live dance. Wanted to clap between (dances) but the energy/emotion was so palatable it never seemed over, (in a great way). You go!
“Absolutely wonderful – so creative, engaging, inspiring, colorful, energizing, exciting and moving.”
